Obituary of MacLeod, Burnell Everett
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on August 25, 2018 of Burnell Everett MacLeod, aged 80. Loving husband of Dale MacLeod (nee Arsenault), brother of Joan (Ralph) Yeo, brother in-law to Linus Arsenault and Danny Arsenault. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews and special companion Molly.
Predeceased by his daughter Crystal Dawn MacLeod, mother Ethel MacLeod, mother and father in-law Irene and Syl Arsenault and brother in-law Michael Arsenault.
Special thanks to our niece Robin Rankin and her husband Sam, niece Tami and brother Linus for their help over the last few months. Thank you to the very special palliative care team at Prince County Hospital and staff of the PEI Cancer Treatment Center.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, August 29th, then to East Prince Funeral Chapel for a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Springbrook. Memorial donations in Burnell's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
