Obituary of Gaudet, Alfred S. "Junior"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, September 14th, 2018 of Alfred S. "Junior" Gaudet of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 78 years. Junior was born in Summerside to the late Alfred J. and Mildred Gaudet.
Survived by his brother Darryl, sister Joanne, sister-in-law Marlene, nephew Stephen (Kendra), great nieces Kate and Hilarie and his special fur friend Duke.
Besides his parents, Junior was predeceased by his brother Dennis.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, September 18th, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Junior's memory to the Palliative Care Unit Prince County Hospital or St. John the Baptist Cemetery would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday evening from 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
