Obituary of Curtis, John Raymond
The death occurred peacefully with his loving wife by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, October 11th, 2018 of John Raymond Curtis of Summerside, aged 56 years. John was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to George and Edith (nee Curtis) Clyke.
Beloved husband of Deletra (nee McArthur) Curtis. Survived by his brothers and sisters Cathy Clyke, Kevin (Ida) Clyke, Kent (Krista) Clyke and Susie Clyke, mother-in-law Amy McArthur, brother and sister-in-law Olive (Loring) DesRoches, Delton (Tammy) McArthur, special friend Joey Blanchard and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother and sister Sheldon and Connie, special uncle Geroge Curtis, special nephew Justin Clyke, grandparents Toff and Mary Curtis and Gertrude and Demies Clyke, father-in-law Garfield McArthur, brother-in-law David McArthur and numerous aunts and uncles.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, October 16th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Alberton Pentecostal Cemetery, Brooklynn. Memorial donations in John's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Monday from 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
