Obituary of Bell, Robert "Bob" Francis
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 of Robert "Bob" Francis Bell of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Cape Traverse, P.E.I., aged 82 years. Bob was born in Searletown, P.E.I. to the late Frank and Cottie (nee Bradshaw) Bell.
Loving father of Susan Bell, Cathy Bell, Donnie (Donna), Sandra (Rob) McKay, Sharon Bell, Nancy Bell, Barbara Bell, Rob (Patty) and Tracy (Matthew) Jelley. Also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Survived by his brother and sister Donnie (Katheryn) Bell, Wendell Bell, brother-in-law Allan MacIssac and Darlene (Eldon) Arsenault and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his son Wayne (young age), sister Audrey MacIssac, brother Allan Bell and sister-in-law Mary Bell. Bob's love of music will always be remembered by all.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request, there will be no funeral service held. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the Searletown Cemetery, Searletown. Memorial donations in Bob's memory to Andrews Lodge or PEI Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
