Obituary of Gallein, Jerry Helmut

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 of Jerry (Jurgen) Helmut Gallein retired Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces of Chelton, P.E.I. and formerly of Toronto, ON., aged 69 years. Jerry was born in Mannheim, Germany to the late Walter and Elvira Gallein. Beloved husband of Joanne Gallein (nee Pothier) and loving stepfather of Paul (Jennifer). Survived by his mother and father-in-law Louise and Laurie Smith, Arcadia, Nova Scotia, by his sister-in-law Heather Pothier Thomas (late Gerry), Lennox Island and his fur friends Fletch, Blu and his special girl Murphy. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Jerry's memory to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit or PEI Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
