Obituary of Kilbride - O'Connor, Mary "Paula"
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, November 16th, 2018 of Mary "Paula" Kilbride-O'Connor of Summerside and formerly of Burnaby, B.C. and Bayside/ Grand River, aged 65 years. Paula was born in Tyne-Valley, P.E.I. to her mother Betty Kilbride and her father the late Lorne Kilbride.
Beloved wife of Mark O'Connor of Burnaby, B.C.
Survived by her brothers and sister; Allison (Hazel), Ann (John) MacDonald, Mike (Irene) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Vince and Darrell. Also survived by Mark's family and her many friends in B.C.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, November 21st, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Grand River. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paula's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
