Obituary of MacDonald, Angus Martin
The death occurred suddenly as the result of a highway accident in Summerside on Friday, December 21st, 2018 of Angus Martin MacDonald of Summerside and formerly of Shamrock, aged 69 years. Angus was the son of the late William and Stella MacDonald.
Survived by his brothers Donald of Summerside, and Arthur (Darlene) and David (Rose) all of Shamrock. Also lovingly remembered by his nephews & niece: Arthur (Patricia) MacDonald of Summerside, Clinton MacDonald (Carolyn Lowther) of Crapaud, Renee (Tyler) Keough of Shamrock and great nieces and nephews William & Sophie MacDonald and Allie, Avery, and Katie Keough.
Besides his parents, Angus was predeceased by his brothers Winston and Chester MacDonald.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside where a Memorial Service will take place on Friday, December 28th at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in the Springton Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Angus's memory to the Springton Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
