Obituary of Steele, Brian Leo
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 of Brian Leo Steele of Summerside, aged 58 years. Brian was born in Charlottetown to the late Leo and Eleanor (nee Blanchard) Steele. Loving father of Melissa (Grant) Ostridge, Joey (Hilary) MacLean, Brittany (Chris) Gallant, Kelsey Steele (Steven Palmer) and step-father to Krystle (Lennie) MacAusland. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Chloe and Landon Ostridge.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Bonnie (Danny) Thomas, Gary (Lili) Steele, Randy (Debbie) Doyle, Coleen (Sterling) MacEachern, Kenny (Cindy), Lisa (David) and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his grandmother Georgina Blanchard.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, January 19th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Indian River at a later date. Memorial donations in Brian's memory to Mental health and addiction services or the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Saturday from 1:00 - 2:45 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
