Obituary of Tremere, John Lawson
The death occurred suddenly but peacefully at the South Shore Villa in Crapaud on Friday, January 25th, 2019 of John "Jack" Lawson Tremere of Borden-Carleton, aged 64 years. Jack was the beloved son of the late Betty (nee Barrett) and Lawson Tremere.
Dear brother of Joy (Dave) Farish, Judi (Charles) Coughlin, Danny, Barry (deceased), and Ted (Shelley) Tremere. Uncle Jack is lovingly remembered by his eight nephews and their families, Jason & Jeremy Read, Matthew & Kristoffer Coughlin, Zachary & Joshua Tremere, and Nicholas & Clay Tremere.
Survived by his aunts Eleanor Tremere, Thelma (Ralph) Cruwys, Gertrude Barrett, and Marilyn Barrett as well as numerous cousins.
Private memorial service at a later date. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
Sincere thank you to the staff of the Kensington Community Care Home and the South Shore Villa for the excellent care Jack received in recent months as well as to his neighbours and friends from Borden-Carleton & area for all the kindness they have shown to Jack over the years.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
