Obituary of Cantelo, Arthur "Lloyd"
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 of Arthur "Lloyd" Cantelo of Summerside, aged 85 years. Lloyd was born in Fredericton, NB. to the late Louis and Florence (nee Gardiner) Cantelo.
Beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Hadded) Cantelo and loving father of Don (Cheryl) Cantelo. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Shea (Janet) and Devin (Nyasha) his 2 great-grandchildren Trance and Liam. Survived by his brothers and sister Horace "Joe", Raymond (Winnie), Grace (Edgar) Blackett, Larry (Carolyn), sister-in-law Beverly Cantelo and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Eileen (Betty "Flo") and brother Aubrey Cantelo.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, February 8th, 2019, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place in Dundas Community Cemetery, Dundas at a later date. Memorial donations in Lloyd s memory to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 3 - 6 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
