Obituary of DeWolfe, Leonard Peter
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 of Leonard Peter DeWolfe of Wedgewood Manor, Summerside and formerly of Timberlea, NS., aged 87 years. Leonard was born in Edmundston, NB. to the late Simon and Geraldine (Paulin) DeWolfe.
Beloved husband of Doris (Agnes) DeWolfe and loving father of Robert and Barb (Lorne). Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Ashley (Jeremie) and Andrew, and his great-grandchild Rachel. Survived by his brother and sisters Elizabeth, Joanne (James), Jim (Sheena), Connie (Clayton) and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Patricia Kitson and brother Michael DeWolfe.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. A Celebration of Leonard's Life will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery at a late date. Memorial donations in Leonard's memory to Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
