Obituary of Noonan, Russell Philip
It is with heavy hearts and much love that we announce the sudden passing of Russell Philip Noonan of Middleton, P.E.I., aged 59 years, on Wednesday March 23rd, 2022. Russell was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to the late Philip and Lorraine (Sherry) Noonan. Beloved husband of Karen (Walsh) Noonan and loving father of Jeremy (Hannah Dixon), Jonathan, Jessica (Don Walls). Survived by his brothers and sisters Pamela (Hughie) Murphy, Peter (Stephanie), Rachel (Michael "Guy") Cameron, Anne Marie (Paul) Muise, Stephanie Smith, Maribeth, Andrea, Andrew (Sandra), Jennifer Chapman and Jacinta (Chris) Keough and several nieces and nephews. Russell was a dedicated businessman, known for his kindness and generosity in helping others. But most of all he was a family man, family was everything to Russell. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, where a private Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday March 29th, 2022, by invitation. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
