Obituary of Newman, Robert "Bob"
The death occurred peacefully with his loving family by his side at his late residence on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 of Robert "Bob" Randolph Newman of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Englee, Nfld, aged 69 years. Bob was born in Roddickton, Nfld to the late George and Catherine (nee Randell) Newman.
Beloved husband of Bernetta (nee Randell) Newman and loving father of Bobbi Newman (Derek), and Blair (Natalie) Newman all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren Ty, Hope, and Brooke Newman.
Survived by his brother Garfield (Frances), sister Verna (Wayne) Randell, father and mother in- law Raymond and Beatrice Randell all of Englee Nfld., and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Predeceased by his brother-in-law Scott Randell.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, April 3rd, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Bob's memory to the Prince County Palliative Home Care would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hour Wednesday from 1:00 until the time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
