Obituary of Ferrish, James "Gordon"
The death occurred peacefully with his loving wife by his side after an illness at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 of James âGordon" Ferrish, aged 65 years. Gordon was born in Summerside to the late Percy and Bessie (nee Waite) Ferrish. He will be missed seen walking on Water Street every day.
Beloved husband of Christina (nee Bryan) Ferrish and loving father of Amanda Ferrish and Tanya (Patrick) Heaps. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 granddaughters Jaclyn and Robyn Heaps.
Survived by his brother Eric (Dianne), sisters Marjorie (Robert) Geiss, Darlene Ross (Shane Murphy), brother-in-law Lipton Spence, sister-in-law Berla Ferrish, mother-in-law Jean Bryan, brothers and sister-in-law Linda (Claude) MacAusland, Trudy (Darren) Demont, Wayne (Carol) Bryan, Billy (Brenda) Bryan, Carla (John) Schurman and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Joyce Spence, brother Eldon, father-in-law Edward Bryan and niece Tracy Spence. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside.
By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Gordon's memory to Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
