Obituary of Myers, Wendell Wesley

The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, April 22nd, 2019 of Wendell Wesley Myers formerly of Borden-Carleton, P.E.I., aged 86 years. Wendell was born in North Carleton, P.E.I. to the late Heber and Edna (Campbell) Myers. Beloved husband of the late Audrey (Coles) Myers and loving father of Kenneth Myers (Audrey Durkee), Alan Myers (Darlene DesRoches) and Peter (Sonia) Myers all of Summerside, grandchildren Kendell Myers (Jennifer Myers), Kara (Josh) Poole, Jordyn Myers, Madison Myers, great-grandchildren Weston Myers, Nolan Esson, Galilee, Petra, Titus and Adaya Poole. Survived by his sister Jeannette (Everett) Barlow, sister-in-law Carol Myers (Orville Dawson), brothers-in-law Howard Coles, John Coles (Gail Ling), Bannie Coughlin, sisters-in-law Nanne Garnham and Heather (Dunstan MacDonald) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Gordon, sister Freda Coughlin, in-laws Nelson Henry, David Barlow, William Garnham, Marjorie Coles and Ann Coles. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, April 26th, 2019, then to the Bedeque United Church, Bedeque for a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations in Wendell's memory to Bedeque United Church or Searletown Cemetery, Searletown would be greatly appreciated.
