Obituary of Arsenault, Albina Marie
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, May 17th, 2019 of Albina "Bina" Marie (nee Bernard) Arsenault of Summerside, aged 90 years. Albina was born in St. Philippe, P.E.I to the late Emilien and Ida (nee Cormier) Bernard.
Beloved wife of Alfred "Fred" Arsenault and lovingly step-mother of Robert (Carla) Arsenault, Joyce Ellis and Richard (Theresa) Arsenault. Also lovingly remembered by her step-grandchildren Cheryl, Troy, Lisa, Scott, Andrea, Cory, Jodie, Nicole, Pamela and Cody and 20 step-great-grandchildren.
Survived by her sisters Rosie Gallant, Louise Poirier, Marguerite (Desmond) Arsenault and many nieces and nephews.
Albina was predeceased by her step-sons Eldon and Walter, step-daughter Linda, brother Henry (Antoinette) Bernard, sisters Clairisse (Edmond) Daigle, Melina (Hank) Landry, Marie (Albin) Richard, brothers-in-law Leo, Jerome and Fidele.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, May 20th, 2019, then to St. Paul's Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Albina's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday from 5 - 7 p.m.
St.Paul's CWL will hold a prayer service on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
