Obituary of Martin, Loretta Mae
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 of Loretta Mae (nee MacIsaac) Martin of Summerside, and formerly Kensington, P.E.I., aged 81 years. Loretta was born in Souris, P.E.I. to the late Joseph "Joe Daisy" and Lorena (nee Jarvis) MacIsaac.
Beloved wife of the late Tom Martin and loving mother of Blair (Marcia) Martin of Indian River. Also remembered by her 4 grandchildren Jill (Ryan) Ross, Heidi Martin (Gregor Chisholm), Brandi Martin and Jonah (Tamara) Martin, 3 great-granddaughters Madison, Abigail and Amelia and several nieces and nephews
Survived by her brothers and sisters Shirley (Harold) Martin, David (Ann) MacIsaac, Charles (Nina) MacIsaac, Basil (deceased) Darlene and Jean (Leonard) Gallant (deceased).
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, June 5th, where a funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Loretta's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
