Obituary of Buchanan, John "Junior"

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of John "Junior" Buchanan on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022. John is survived by his wife of 56 years Diana (Smith), his son Robert, daughters Cindy (Carl) Murray, Elizabeth (Mark) Illsley, and loving brother to Darrell (Theresa) Dyment. John had tremendous love and pride for his surviving grandchildren Patrick Aubin, Brandon and Matthew Bagnall, Jacob Murray, Ethan and Mackenzie Illsley. John was predeceased by his parents and five sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Visiting Hours on Thursday, April 7th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Funeral Service held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday April 8th at 10:00am. Masks are mandatory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
