Obituary of Gallant, Gordon Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 of Gordon Joseph Gallant of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 55 years. Gordon was born in Summerside to the late Ernest and Delima Gallant.
Beloved husband of Laurie Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by his special angel Page Dawe and daddy's boys Chester and Lester (cats).
Survived by his brothers and sister Leo Gallant (Betty Handrahen), Norman (Linda) Gallant, Theresa (Mike) Arsenault, Calvin Gallant (Janega Boltiador- Gallant), his father in-law Aubin Gallant, brothers and sisters in-law Lee (Martin) Smith, Larry (Nancy) Gallant and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his mother-in-law Lila Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, January 16th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Gordon's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
