Obituary of Wedge, Willard Raymond
The death occurred peacefully at the O'Leary Community Care Center, O'Leary, P.E.I., on Monday, January 27th, 2020 of Willard Raymond Wedge of O'Leary and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I, aged 75 years. Willard was born in Seven Mile Bay, P.E.I. to the late Agno and Eva (Arsenault) Wedge.
Survived by his sisters Marie Sonier of Summerside, Loretta (Carmen) Colwill of Summerside, Nancy Gilbert of Truro, NS., sister-in-law Margaret Ann Wedge of Borden, P.E.I., brother in-law Robert Ellis of Barrie, ON. and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters Helen Ellis and Marjorie (Earl) Muttart and brothers Gilbert and Edward Wedge.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay at a later date. Memorial donations in Willard's memory to the PEI Humane Society or O'Leary Community Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
