Obituary of Arsenault, Peter Wilford
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside P.E.I. on Thursday May 5th, 2022 of Peter Wilford Arsenault of Le Chez Nous, Wellington, P.E.I. and formerly of St. Hubert, P.E.I, aged 96 years. Peter was born in St. Hubert to the late Theodore and Beatrice (nee Richard) Arsenault.
Beloved husband of the late Helen (Gallant) Arsenault and loving father of Arnold, Bobby, Melvin, Peter, Joanne, Louise, Tracy, Jeannette, Caroline and their mother Theresa Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Francois, Anna Green, Andre, Louis and Therese LeBlanc.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday May 9th, 2022 then to St. Paul's Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Philippe & St. Jacques church cemetery, Egmont-Bay, P.E.I. at a later date. Visiting hours on Monday from 1 - 2 p.m. Memorial donations in Peter's memory to the Palliative Care Unit Prince County Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
Members of the Miscouche Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 18 will hold A Service of Remembrance at the funeral home on Monday at 12:45 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
