Obituary of Wedge, Elizabeth Mae
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Saturday May 7th, 2022 of Elizabeth "Liz" Wedge of Summerside, aged 69 years. Liz was born in Summerside to the late Leonard and Ruth Jeffery (nee MacAusland), beloved wife of Lloyd Wedge and loving mother of Sharon Anne Arsenault, Jason (Faye Blanchard) and Tracey Wedge (Adrian Murray). Also lovingly remembered by five grandchildren: Jeffery, Michael, Jenna, Amanda, Kylee, and four great-grandchildren Madison, Braeden, Everleigh and Rueben.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Lenny (Cathy) Jeffery, Jimmy (Marion) Jeffery, Jerry (Bernadine) Jeffery, Allie (Nancy) and Sharon Laviolette and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son David Wedge, brother Leonard (in infancy) and brother-in-law Maurice Laviolette.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday May 11th, where a funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place at People's Cemetery, Summerside. Donations in Liz's memory to the Autism Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
