Obituary of Arsenault, Yvonne Marie Anne
Yvonne Marie (nee Gallant) Arsenault of Miscouche, died peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, on Friday, August 14th, 2020, aged 83 years. Yvonne was born in Puisville, PEI to the late Peter and Louise Gallant.
Beloved wife of the late Elmer Arsenault and loving mother to Glenn Arsenault of Linkletter, Douglas Arsenault of Halifax, Brenda (Glenn) Arsenault of Mount-Pleasant and Michelle (David) Woo of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jeremy Arsenault, Stephanie Hughes, Kyle Lutz and Victoria and Lola Digout-Ford.
Survived by her brother Edmund (Evelyn) Gallant of Summerside and sisters Anne Doucette of Charlottetown, Pearle (Ed) MacDonald of Cascumpec, and Joan (Wayne) MacGuigan of Cornwall.
Predeceased by her sister Anita (Leo) Chaisson and brothers Vincent & Alyre Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral will be held followed by the interment in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Miscouche. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
