Obituary of Sharpe, Allen Garth
Allen Garth Sharpe died peacefully in his Summerside home on September 28th, 2020 at the age of 75. Garth was born in Summerside, grew up and later farmed in Norboro. Garth was the son of the late Lindsay and Verna (nee Mayne) Sharpe.
He is survived by his loving brothers and sister: Errol Sharpe (Beverley Rach), Wayne (Eileen) Sharpe, Louise (Blois) Weeks and sister-in-law Jean (Bryce) Sharpe.
He is predeceased by brother Bryce and infant sister Elsie.
Garth is also survived by many nieces and nephews: Lindsay Sharpe (Kristen), Ian Sharpe (Chi), Jesse Rach-Sharpe (Samantha), Myah Rach-Sharpe (Nico), Ewen Sharpe (Kim), Matthew (Lori) Sharpe, Mary Beth Sharpe (Spencer), Laura Lee Sharpe, Verna Lynne Weeks (Stephen), Brenda Weeks, Marvin Weeks, Ellen (Corey) Downey and several great nieces and nephews.
Family meant a lot to Garth and he also enjoyed daily coffee gatherings with his friends in Summerside.
Garth is resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside where a private funeral will be held. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Kensington. Memorial donations in Garth's memory to People's Cemetery, Kensington would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
