Dean Harkness Obituary

The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 of William "Dean" Harkness of Summerside, PEI aged 71 years. Dean was born in Summerside to the late Claude and Bertha (Collicutt) Harkness.


Loving father of Sarah Harkness (Travis Willcott) and Jennifer Harkness. Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Parker and Piper Chaisson. Survived by his sister Judy (Donald) Stavert. Special niece and nephew Kim Stavert and Greg (Ashley) Stavert, special grand nieces Olivia Irvine and Layton and Polly Stavert and special grand nephews Hudson Irvine and Teddy Stavert. Also leaves behind his loving dog, Lexie.


Resting at East Prince Funeral 245 Pope rd. Summerside, PEI until Monday, January 13th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. Donations in Dean's memory can be made directly to the PEI Humane Society or PEI Wildlife Federation. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m.
