I was saddened to hear about Norman. I worked as a secretary at Miscouche School from 1982-1987. Norman was an extremely kind person and I always enjoyed listening to his stories. On behalf of myself and husband, Real, our sympathy goes out to you.

Sincere Sympathy to all. Norman taught me ( Cecelia) at Miscouche High School many moons ago. He was a good math teacher who knew his subject well and explained things very clearly. May he rest in peace.

Betty (Ramsay) FitzGerald.....
Remembering Norman as we grew up together. Our mothers were of the Yeo decendents from Port Hill. We went to school together in Arlington and Norman taught my daughters in Miscouche . When my sister, Erma, came home in the summer from Ontario, we would visit Norman. The teapot was on an out came the cookies and chocolates. Wonderful memories of a life long friend.

Our sympathies to you on the loss of Norman - My husband Eldon, went to Miscouche High School and has always spoken highly of "Mr. Ford" ... He was always kind and supportive. One day a few of the older students were outside and yelled out, saying "Mr. Ford, can we borrow your car"? He threw them the keys - It was all in fun and, of course, they didn't take his car. He would always stop and chat anytime we say him over the years. Rest in Peace Mr. Ford <3 Deepest condolences to all the family!

Rest in peace Mr Ford.

I am very sorry to hear of Mr Ford's passing. Although it have been more years than I care to remember since I was in school, he always stopped to chat when we met at Sobeys - usually in the pet food aisle. He was a nice gentleman.

I am so sorry to hear of Norman’s passing……He was a distant cousin who was such a knowledgeable historian sharing with our family the Dumville history. Our family always looked forward to his countless visits to my parents home. I always enjoyed our chats over the years. Rest easy, Norman….Thinking of you, Sandra Milligan

Mr. Ford taught me at Miscouche High School. He was a very good teacher with the ability to be firm yet kind and sensitive to the needs of his students. Norman attended our 50th High School reunion last summer and it was so great to see him and have a chat. He was a kind man and I’m sure Norman will be missed by friends and family.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
