Obituary of Raymond Joseph Goguen
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital on November 10th, 2024, of Raymond Joseph Goguen of Summerside, aged 91 years.
Raymond was born in 1933 in Cap Pelé, N.B. to his late parents Frederick and Adele (Caissie). Beloved husband of Debbie (Cormier) Goguen and loving father of Chuck, Susan Muir, and Linda Goguen MacFarlane (John).
Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Aaron (Christine), Taylor, Jesse, and Jordan and his great-grandchildren Bailey, Jaylin, Tristan, Audric, and Arianne.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Doreen, Rhéa, Normand, Alfred, Maria,Joseph, as well as Rick.
Predeceased by the following brothers and sisters; Archur, Amidi, Aurelie, Desiré, Irene, Robert, Germaine, Yvonne, Wilfred, Normand, Nora, son-in-law Bruce Muir, and Aaron's mother Michelle.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. There will be no visiting hours or funeral service by personal request.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
