Obituary of Floyd Arsenault
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Monday, October 21st, 2024, of James “Floyd” Arsenault, of Summerside, aged 75 years.
Floyd was born in Summerside to the late Matthew and Roselyn Arsenault.
Beloved husband of the late Eva Arsenault (nee Paugh). Survived by his brother Joseph Arsenault. Will be lovingly missed by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother John Robert and sisters, Eva Richard, Alma Sadler, Joan Perry, and Zeta Phillips.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside. Interment to take place in the Bideford United Cemetery on Monday, October 28th at 3:00 p.m. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
