This is such a sad time for all of us especially Ash's children and family . I met Ash 19 years ago whe I moved to the island . She was always trying to help the next person and always made sure that u never felt alone . Mental health is so hard to deal with on its own and when we add addictions on to it well thats 's a whole new ball game . I will miss our chats late at night and I will hold your words close and in my heart forever . The struggle is over buddy ,now go be with your dad and watch over your family .. fly high with the angels my friend
Friends always and forever.. Michelle

Hi, to Dorothy, Tanya, Ally and all the rest of the extended family, and especially to my Kobe/grandson. Ashley had her bumps along the highway of life, as most of us have had, at one time or another. I will always remember her natural beauty, her extreme love for Kobe, and of course his never ending love for his mother. Ashley and I always got along well, she respected me and I had respect for her. It was hard to watch her health decline in the last bit, but what a relief to know she is now in Heaven, where there is no more pain/sickness/ tears and she is now with Jesus, her Lord and Saviour, for eternity. We her family/friends will miss her, but we would never wish her back to this old World, with all its problems. I expect she will be waiting for the day when she will meet up with those who choose to spend their eternity in Heaven, as she has. Goodbye Ashley, for now.

My sincere condolences to Ashley's family & friends. As a little girl, I can remember being really excited when I'd get the chance to hang out with her and Ally during backyard birthday parties on Ottawa Street. Tanya always made sure the girls had the prettiest outfits and makeup, and she always let us listen to "her music"(which was really cool). When we got older, Ashley followed the footsteps into junior high and highschool where she always had a lot of friends. And as older teenagers, we spent some time thinking we were older than we really were. Now she will be forever young. Rest in peace beautiful girl.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
