Obituary of Nettie Lorraine Culleton
The death occurred suddenly at her late residence on Monday September 30th, 2024 of Nettie Lorraine Culleton of Inverness, PEI and formerly of Mount Pleasant, PEI, aged 64 years. Nettie was born in O'Leary, PEI to the late Frederick and Georgina (Shaw) Culleton.
Beloved wife of Winston Campbell and loving mother of Trudy (Curtis) Dyment and Tracy Culleton (Rick Clow). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Carrisa (Tyson), Carson, Megan, Kyra,Dylan and Jonathan and great granddaughter Kelly-Faye.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Stanley (Darlene), Kenny (Mary), Bonnie (Albert), Alfred (Holly), Minerva (Marvin), Susan (Darren), Darlene (Bayfield), Wanda (Peter), Larry, Freddy and sister-in-law Frances and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her brother Myles, father in-law Ottis Campbell, mother in-law Gertrude Campbell and her sisters Georgina Elaine and Bonnie Gail in Infancy.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd Summerside until Friday October 4, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place at the Victoria West Cemetery, Victoria West. If so desire, donations in Nettie's memory can be made to the funeral Expense Fund. Visiting hours on Friday from 1:00 until time of service.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
