The death occurred peacefully at his late residence, on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 of John Robert “Bob” Fletcher of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 91 years. Bob was born in Springbrook, PEI to the late John and Florence (nee Meek) Fletcher.

Beloved husband of Catherine (MacArthur) Fletcher, loving father of Kevin (Wendy) and Cindy (deceased), grandfather to Justin Morton.

Survived by his sisters in-law Margie and Mary MacArthur, Margaret (Lloyd) MacEachern , Jeri MacArthur and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his sister Jane (Henry) Gaudet, brothers in-law Roger, Warren and Shelton MacArthur.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday October 3rd, 2024, then to St. John’s Anglican Church, Summerside for a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Donations in Bob’s memory can be made directly to St. John’s Cemetery Fund or the International Children Memorial Place. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening from 4 – 8 p.m.
