Obituary of Williams, Richard
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 of Richard B. A. Williams of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 68 years. Retired dedicated worker of UPEI. Richard was born in Toronto, ON. to the late Lewwelyn and Margaret (nee White) Richards.
Beloved husband of Grace I. Williams (nee King) and loving step - father to Jason (Debbie) Luddington and Jean Paul (Carol Ann) Luddington. Also lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren Tyler, Jessica, Mary-Grace, Zia, Heleena and Noah, 1 great granddaughter Stella.
Survived by his sister Pam (Ron) Prye.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Richard's memory to Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences can be sent to epfuneral@eastlink.ca

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
