Very sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I just passed her house yesterday and was thinking I had not seen her in my art Gallery this summer. A friend just sent me a notice.
She was a very kind soul and we shared a love for the music at Indian River. I am quite saddened today to learn about her passing.
Blessings to the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Pang. She was kindhearted, funny and very intelligent. I went for many treatments in her clinic and she helped me when I was in a great deal of pain. She was truly interested and empathetic to how you were feeling as you arrived and would treat any issue you had going on. She was always reading and learning and improving her already mastered skills. She would make the funniest comments and the whole clinic would be laughing. She loved people, spoke highly about her family and always encouraged her patients to walk through her beautiful gardens, which I did many times. I looked forward to seeing her every visit and will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends especially Angela and Judy, who worked by her side at the clinic.

John, Owen, Charlie and Finn…. thinking of each of you, the treats from Market, the hilarious stories, the Thanksgiving pumpkin pies, the love. Dr. Pang, as I always called her, was a healer. Her life was a constant courageous journey. Her memory will live on in the many people who were helped, who were friends. May you find ways to celebrate and continue to live in a way that reflects all of those precious moments. Sending light and love to each one of you.

John, Owen, Charlie and Finn,
My sympathies to you on the death of your mom and po po.
I had been to her clinic many times over the years, always successful. She was brilliant. She always had suggestions for me to take, especially her infamous Fat Burning Tea. She and I often talked about Carolyn, as she knew I had worked with her. Plus she always had stories to share about her “boys”. She was so proud of you. As she’d say, “-They’re good boys.” At my last August appointment she told me she had fallen and when I left I gave her a big hug and said take care of yourself, both of us with teary eyes. Little did I know.
She touched so many lives. And was loved.

John, Your Mother was a very special person to me. She provided a lot of healing to me over the years for which I am always grateful. I so respected and appreciated her; her wit, her continuous yearning for knowledge, her overall love of people and life. The many hours I spent with her were always healing in many ways, not only physically but mentally as well. She will be missed. My sincere sympathy to you, John, and your sons Owen, Charlie and Finn. Rest in Peace, Ruth.

Dr Pang was a lovely soul. I went for many treatments at her clinic, she always had the whole room in stitches. If you were early for your appointment she would send us Earth walking in barefoot in her garden, was so very proud of her magnolia trees. She was a true Firecracker in spirit. Her stories about her Shopping Channel purchases always made me laugh. The story of her Roomba was probably her best, she was upset that it went around items so she had to lift everything up on surfaces so the vacuum always had a clear path. She would say she was worn out from moving everything and putting it back. She would always fix every ailment you had at each appointment, it didn't matter if it was a headache, sinus-allergies, PMS, hot flashes, cold shoulder, or a Hangnail she would say 'I have a needle for that!!" RIP sweet Dr Pang, you deserve some well deserved rest.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
