Obituary of Sydney Joseph Richards

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 of Sydney Joseph Richards of Summerside, aged 75 years. Sydney was born in Summerside to the late Frederick and Lena Richards (Burke). Beloved husband of the late Maureen Richards (MacLaren). 

Survived by his son Brecken and his family, sisters Sarah and Camilla and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his siblings Brenda, Jackie and Danny. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be not visiting hours or funeral service held. A graveside service will be held in St. Paul’s cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Sydney’s memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
