William Jacob "Billy" Chisholm, 73, of St. Nicholas, PEI, passed away quietly in his sleep on July 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 6, 1950, in s’Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, he was the son of the late John Leslie and Maria (Mary) Chisholm.

Billy was a kid at heart, known for his silly sense of humor, his love of teasing, and his fondness for telling goofy stories. He deeply loved his wife, children, and grandchildren, and throughout his life, he was a devoted dog lover. His seven-year-old dog, Pepper, was his big baby who adored cuddling and taking car rides with her dad.

Billy, an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, also enjoyed playing cards and was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, having a good time.

Billy is survived by his wife, Sharon (Yeo); his children, Charlene (Kevin) of Riverview, NB, John (Lisa Myers) of Summerside, PE and Jaimie (Scott) of Whitby, ON., his grandchildren, Jessica Spry (Jesse), Jacob Hansen, Ethan Hansen, Gracie Hicks and Madelyn Hicks; and his great-grandchildren, Paisleigh Spry and Grayson Spry. He is also survived by his siblings: Kenny (Alice) of Riverview, NB; John (Belinda) of Cornwall, PE; Mary (Norman) Campbell of Miscouche; Annie of Elmsdale, NS; Georgie (Sheldon) Ballum of Sherbrooke, PE; Leigh (Leita) of Cornwall, PE; and Marg Chisholm-Ramsay (Reuben) Ramsay of Summerside, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Maria and brother Johny in the Netherlands. He will also be missed by many of his wife's family who he was especially close to.

Special thanks to you to the doctors and nurses at the Prince County Hospital ICU and Palliative care units. Their care and compassion is second to none.

A celebration of Billy's life will take place at East Prince Funeral Home, Sunday August 4 from 2-4pm. All are welcome to join the family after at the St. Eleanor’s community centre at 1 West Dr. St. Eleanor’s, PEI from 4-5:30.
