Obituary of Arsenault, Marjorie Helen
It is always so difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Marjorie Helen (MacKay) Arsenault passed away peacefully at her home in Summerside, PE on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the age of 68. Marjorie was born in McAdam, NB, daughter of the late David and Helen (Huestis) MacKay.
Treasured wife of the late Lorne F. Arsenault. Loving mother of son, Andy (Diane) MacKay and grandmother of Colton and Carly.
Also survived by her siblings, Donnie (Joyce) MacKay, George (Pam) MacKay, Ruth (Hal) McMullin, David MacKay (Natalie), Willard (Rose) MacKay, Emeline (Randall) LeBlanc, Mary Ellen (Keith) Leeman and Judy Collier. Marjorie will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews,cousins, and extended family, many whom reside on the Island and love it as much as she did, including her uncle and aunt, Gerald and Fern Huestis and Lorne's children, Jamie (Shelley), Amanda (Perry) and Shelley (Rick) and their children.
Besides her parents and husband, Marjorie is predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Gerald, her special sister and friend, Jean MacAusland and other family members.
Marjorie enjoyed life and was known by family and friends for her warm heart and for her love of road trips and yard sales.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PE.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
