Obituary of Craig Sheldon Gardiner
It is with great sadness the family of Craig Gardiner announce his sudden passing at his home in Charlottetown on Sunday, July 14th, 2024, at the age of 54 years. Craig was born on March 3rd, 1970 to Sheldon and Lynda Gardiner.
Lovingly remembered by his Mom, Lynda, his brothers Brad (Stephanie) and Kent, his nephew and niece Matt (Krista) and Dawn. Predeceased by his father, Sheldon.
Craig grew up in Cape Traverse. He attended Three Oaks Senior High School before studying History at UPEI. He was a skilled worker at Curran & Briggs, following in his father’s footsteps. He then joined the team at Canada Revenue Agency where he worked until the time of his passing.
Craig had a great love for reading which was evident by the size of his comic book collection. He loved playing hockey, especially with his brothers, Uncle Wendall and Uncle Gerald. He was a loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and San Francisco 49ers. In recent years, Craig discovered a love for Frisbee Golf, enjoying his last game with a friend the day before his passing.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home until Sunday, July 21st for funeral service at 2:00 pm. Visiting hours on Saturday, July 20th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
