Obituary of Donald Ingham Ramsay
Donald Ingham Ramsay formally of Summerside PE. aged 58 years born Feb. 3, 1966 gained his wings on Sunday May 12, 2024. Beloved father of Ingham Ramsay, Lincoln Ramsay, Jeremy (Wendy) Taylor, step son Jonathon (Lissa) True and daughter Octavia.
Survived by his mother Mary (nee Adams) Ramsay and the late Ingham Ramsay; brothers Ronny (Debbie), Michael (Evelyn), sisters Sandra (Artie) and Lorraine Ramsay. Estranged wife Lise Roy Ramsay and Muriel Ramsay, mother of his children.
Aunts and uncle Gertrude Smith, Norma MacDougall, Beth Ramsay, Marlyn Alyes and Clarence MacNeill. Special friends Paul (Betty), Gordon (Barb) MacAusland, Wayne (Joan) MacDougall and Paul Gunning. Donald will be dearly missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Predeceased by his sons Ian Taylor and Justin Ramsay, his sister May Marie Ramsay and several aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home Summerside PE, by personal request there will be no funeral or visiting hours held. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in Donny’s memory can be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Society, the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
