Obituary of Serenity Lynn Snow
Serenity Lynn Snow, aged 9 years, slipped away while being cuddled by her family at the IWK Hospital, Halifax, NS. on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024. Precious daughter of Nicole Snow (Matthew Gaudet) and Ernest Trowsdale (Alyssa Cameron) of Summerside, P.E.I.. Loving sister to Jackson Snow and Sebastian Boylan.
Survived by her aunts and uncles Scott Perry (Darcie), Brenda Perry (Jason Paynter), Wendy Snow (Brian Rayner), Melissa Sudsbury (Blake) Cory Trowsdale (Amber), Joey Trowsdale (Jennifer Boylan), grandparents Linda Snow, David Snow, Wendy Trowsdale (Nelson Albert), great grandmothers Mary Snow and Doris Trowsdale, special cousins Brandon, Pacey, Georgina, Max, Hudson and Hunter.
Predeceased by her great grandparents Georgina (Johnny) Wright, Leonard Snow, Bill and Marion Gallant and Gordon Trowsdale.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, May 11th, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, donations in Serenity’s memory to her brother Jackson's Education Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
