Obituary of Allan John Campbell

The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Friday April 26, 2024, of Allan John Campbell of Summerside, PE aged 69 years. Son of the late Urban and Lallah Campbell (MacKinnon) of Summerside and formerly of Lot 16.

Loving husband of 50 years to Debbie (nee Chittick). Proud father of Danny (Lisa), Lisa (Rocky) Schurman, Jeff (Tammy), and youngest daughter Kim. Buddy to Jacob, Rourke (Drew), Dayz (Ryan), Jesse, Jenna, Brady, Lydia, Ayden and step grandchildren also proud great grandfather to Ruah Lallah.

Lovingly survived by his mother and father-in-law Charles and Maxine Chittick (Reid) and brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Carole Chittick. Nephews Reid (Kim), and Jamie (Christy). Allan will also be missed by his Aunt Daisy Stephenson, lifelong friend Dale “Dixie” (Cathy) Perry and cousin who was like a brother Doug (Tammy) Dyment. Also sadly missed by his two fur babies Teddy and Taffy.

Predeceased by his parents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Allan was loved by those who knew him. He loved a good game of golf, spending time with his family, and his Tim Horton’s Crew. Allan was also a prankster and loved to give a good scare. Allan was a carpenter by trade and took pride in the homes he built for his family.

 As per Allan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life and a graveside service will take place and will be announced at a later date.
