Doris, Allie and family,
So sorry to hear of Elmer's passing. Another one of the Towers Food family gone but not forgotten. And so soon after losing his right-hand man, Gerry Ronahan. I'm sure they will have lots of stories to tell now that they're together again. Elmer was always so friendly and outgoing and ready to greet all the people he knew-- and that would be quite a list just from his days at Towers, SaveEasy and at Cavendish, as well as all the other friends he had. Glad I met him again on some of those walking trips. Rest in peace Elmer, you've earned it!

Doris and family,
I have wonderful memories of Elmer from our Towers days. He was truly an honourable man with a wonderful sense of humour. It was always such a delight to run into you and Elmer while we were out shopping.
Sending prayers your way.

I can't help but smile as I think of Elmer sitting with God in heaven and telling Little Johnny jokes :) Seeing Elmer and Doris when we made one of our many trips back to PEI was always a highlight, and our time together will be fondly remembered. Elmer was always one of my father's favorites, and maybe the two of them are having a game of crib right now.
Its people like Elmer that built Canada into a great nation, hardworking family man, great community leader, and he did it all with a sense of caring and generosity, sense of humor and love. Though we were separated by over 5000KM, I always felt really close to him. One of a kind, he will truly be missed.
My condolences to his family and especially Aunt Doris. Jerry and Janice Gallant

We were all so sorry to hear of Elmer's passing. We love him and Doris and your whole family. Our hearts go out to you at this sad time. Elmer was always so kind to anyone who knew him. Always a smile on his face and so pleasant to everyone. A rock to Doris and he will be deeply missed. One of my happiest memories are when he and Doris joined us for an amazing week in Domican when my sister Laurie got married in 2009. They were such a fantastic addition and we were so happy and touched they were there. Something that brought us all closer.. will cherish those memories and Elmer forever. Rest in peace sweet man.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
