Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 19th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 5 will hold a service of remembrance in the funeral home chapel at 9:45 a.m.

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, April 13, 2024, of Donald ‘Donnie’ Alfred Arsenault of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 86 years. Donnie was born in Summerside to his late parents Theodore and Bella Arsenault.

Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Poirier) Arsenault and loving father of Sandra (Mark) Monger of Morinville, AB and Dawn Delahunty of Paris, ON. Cherished grandfather to Caitlyn, Krysten and Alysha. Survived by siblings Theresa Veno, Marie (Elmer) Perry and sister-in-law Connie Arsenault and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Donnie was predeceased by son-in-law Eugene Delahunty and siblings Walter (Margaret) Arsenault, Edna (Charlie) Buhler, Gussie (Bea) Arsenault, Dorothy (Doug) Thompson, Melvin Arsenault, Leonard (Mary) Arsenault, Bertha (Kline) McWatters, George Arsenault, Henry (Janet) Arsenault, and Archie Arsenault in infancy.

Arrangements entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.

Interment to take place in St. Paul’s cemetery, Summerside at a later date.
