The death occurred at his home in Summerside of Herbert Wilfred McEwen on March 31, 2024. Born October 12, 1935 to Hubert and Gladys McEwen (Perry).
He leaves to mourn his wife Louise (Potton), his three children Dara (Tommy) Marcoccia, John (Vanessa) Potton, and Christina (Rob) Hick, his sister Marilyn (Don), and brothers Ray(Iris), Robert(Judy), Gary (Debbie), his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Keir and Eric and by sisters Frances, Stella, Carolyn and Eileen.
A celebration of life will take at the East Prince Funeral Home on Friday, April 19 at 2 PM. Internment to take place at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Alberton.
