Obituary of Garnet Whitney Rushton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garnet Rushton of Richmond Hill, Ont., formerly of Miscouche, PEI. He passed away on March 1, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. He was 78 years old.

Left to mourn are his wife of 56 years (Freda), his children Mary and Garnie and their families, brother Percy (Louise) Rushton, sister Tillie (Allan) MacLeod, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Whitney and Clara (DesRoches) Rushton, sister Noreen Stonehouse, and brother Louis Rushton.

Garnet will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date in Ontario.
