Hearing about the passing of Uncle Orval was one of those sad moments in life that gives us all pause to remember and think of happy times. We were fortunate enough to visit him and Aunt Jean this past summer and it was lovely reconnecting and catching up. Uncle Orval was kind a very kind man, and he will be missed by everyone in the family. Maggie & I want to wish Aunt Jean and the rest of family our deepest condolences.

Dear Aunt Jean and family...one of my very favourite Uncles. A true gentleman, family man and caring individual. We will all miss him. Thank you Uncle Orval for letting me eat chicken instead of lobster on our visit with Mom.

Oh the many hours of having this knowledgable, skilled and somewhat philosophical gentleman manning the power of the Argus behind me. I might have been the Captain of the crew, but it was my limitless faith in my engineer that gave me confidence to do my job. Thanks Orv. John 'Cyclops one' Scott

My condolences to you, Jean, and family Debbie, Wendy, Brenda, Stan and families. Orville was a great guy, so interesting, such a great next door neighbor for over 35 years. We used to tease him, called him the mayor of south drive. He kept us up to date on all the current affairs and never missed a year collecting for the poppy campaign. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be missed !

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
