Obituary of Zita Marie Rose Gallant
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 of Zita Marie Rose Gallant (nee Arsenault) of Summerside, aged 72 years. Zita was born in Mont-Carmel, P.E.I. to the late Amedee and Mary Anne Arsenault.
Beloved wife of James “Jimmy” Gallant and loving mother of Scott (Karen), Rodney (Amy), Merle (Danielle). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chloe (Corry), Keera, Tyler, Bentley, Jessie and Luke.
Survived by her sister Sandy (Eldon) Arsenault, brother Hubert Arsenault, niece Michelle and nephews Rob and Shawn.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday October 26th, 2023, then to Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel Church, Mont-Carmel for a funeral mass at 2:00 pm. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Zita’s memory can be made directly to Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel Cemetery. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening from 5 -7 p.m.
