Obituary of Gordon Alexander Rushton

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023 of Gordon Alexander Rushton of Summerside, aged 85 years. Gordon was born in Springhill, NS. to the late Tom and Jenny (Boutilier) Rushton. Beloved husband of the late Edna (Gallant) Rushton and loving father to Ronnie (Sharon) Rushton, Oromocto, NB., Kevin Rushton, St. Eleanors, Neal (Cindy) Rushton, Miscouche, Pauline Rushton, Miscouche, Larry (Tammy) Rushton, Summerside, also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ben Rushton, Hannah and Cody Doucette, Predeceased by his brother Douglas.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd. Summerside until Friday October 6th, 2023 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel Cemetery, Mont-Carmel. Donations in Gordon's memory can be made directly to PEI diabetes Society. Visiting hour on Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.
