Obituary of Willis Lorne Silliker
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor on September 13th,2023 of Willis Lorne Siliker of Summerside, aged 80 years.
Willis was born in Malpeque to his late parents Lorne and Doris. Beloved husband of Norma (Delaney) Siliker.
Loving father of Garth, Georgie, and Marla and stepchildren Nancy, Cathy, Peter, Mary Louise, Carolyn, Susan, and Wade. Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren , as well as his brother in-law William "Bill" Delaney, sister-in-law Diane Siliker and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his children Melinda, Judy, and Raymond, sister Mae (Clarence) Champion and his brother Keith Siliker.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
