Obituary of Fred Allen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Frederick “Fred” Herald Allen, formerly of Dartmouth and Sydney NS. on Sunday June 11th, 2023 at the age of 45 years. Fred was born in St. John’s Nfld. Son of Joan (Sutherland) Allen and the late Fred Allen.
Survived by his sister Jennifer Allen as well as a large extended family on both the Allen and Sutherland side.
Predeceased by his grandparents Fred and Audrey Allen and Donald and Mary Sutherland.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday June 19th, 2023, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:30 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in the Oxridge Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middle Sackville, NS. Memorial donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association PEI or Nova Scotia. Visiting hours on Monday evening from 5: 00 p.m. until time of service.
