On Friday, March 10, 2023, Thomas Brown Goodwin of Darnley, PE, formerly of Nain, Newfoundland and Labrador, age 75 years, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, to his late parents John & Mary (nee Archibald) Goodwin.

Beloved husband to Christine (nee Dicker) Goodwin, loving father of Jodie (Sherry) and Scott and grandfather to Sydney and Milika. He will be forever remembered and loved by his family and friends, near and far.

Tom and Christine moved to Prince Edward Island from Newfoundland and Labrador after his retirement. Tom was an entrepreneur, from co-owning a retail hardware store to owning and operating a hotel. Where he felt the most at home was on the ocean, Tom loved to captain his boats over the open waters.

Tom’s family and friends will take time to gather and celebrate and honour Tom’s life at a later date. Care is entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside, PE
